Musalmanan-e-Kalyana

Kalyana Welfare House
1946-1990

Before partition in the year 1946, a piece of land measuring 160 Sq Yards was acquired for the office of Anjuman Musalmanan-e-Kalyana situated at Ranchood Lines near Bangi Masjid, Karachi. All activities of Anjuman’s were started therein. In the Year 1968 an Industrial home for ladies and library was started for the general public. Later on, Anjuman Musalmanan-e-Kalyana’s Head Office shifted from Welfare House to Kalyana Community Centre, ST-13, Sector-10, Kalyana Town, North Karachi for the community members.

Shobah Imdad Mustahqeen
Established in 1959

Shoba Imdad Mustahqeen was established in 1959 for the purpose of the collection of Zakat, Fitra, Sadqat, Donations, Hide & Skins and other useable materials for distribution to poor people, widows, students and needy persons according to Islamic Law.

Construction work of Community Center started in 1978 but due to financial difficulties work was stopped. Afterwards Anjuman arranged finance and work re-started and was completed in 1987 and Anjuman Musalmanan-e-Kalyana’s Head Office shifted from Welfare House, Ranchore Lines, near Bangi Masjid, Karachi to Kalyana Community Centre, ST-13, Sector-10, Kalyana Town, North Karachi.

Jama Masjid-e-quba

ST-4 Sector 10 Kalyana Town, North Karachi.

The construction of Kalyana Academy and Jama Masjid Quba started simultaneously in 1985 and both the constructions were completed. A two acre plot was acquired for the construction of Kalyana Academy and Jama Masjid Quba. The construction of Jama Masjid Quba at Kalyana Town Sector 10 North Karachi was completed in April 1986. It looks like a large, beautiful and worth-looking visible. The Inauguration ceremony was held one day before the start of Ramadan. On Friday, prayer was offered in the mosque.

Kalyana Academy

ST-4 Sector 10 Kalyana Town, North Karachi.

Construction of Kalyana Academy and Jama Masjid-e-Quba was started together in 1985 and both constructions were completed and educational sessions started in April 1986 with well educated and trained teachers being appointed. Kalyana Academy is fitted with all the latest educational equipment and a Science Lab. The fee structure has been kept low because students of Kalyana Community are allowed 50 percent concession. Together with freeship for needy families. By now, thousands of students have passed out from this Academy.

Kalyana Medical Center

Construction of Kalyana Medical center was started on plot ST-3 Sector-10 North Karachi in 1988 and completed in 1989. The Kalyana Medical Center Ameliorative Ceremony of inauguration was done on 17-11-1989. The Medical Center is best equipped with medical facilities that entirely service Kalyana Community, nearby area patients and needy persons. It is being equipped with an Ambulance.

K-Training Center & Beauty Saloon

Kalyana Industrial Home was established since 1968 in our Head Office at welfare house, Ranchore Lines, near Bangi Masjid, Karachi which was subsequently shifted to Kalyana Town, Sector-10, North Karachi, where in regular classes was started in 1991. In the year of 2022, it is renamed as K-Training Center & Beauty saloon wherein the training classes were started for ladies under the Trained & Qualified Teachers i.e. Slamming& Gym, Beauty Saloon, Mehndi, Stitching, Kadhai, Boutique Designing, Textile Designing, English language and Computer.

Kalyana Graveyard

1946 our community living in Karachi they get a plot for Graveyard measuring 6490 Sq.Yards at Recer Lines from KMC vide there resolution no 948 dated 08/10/1946
